• Usage Data: Information on how you use our platform, such as login data, IP address, browser type, etc. (may be collected automatically).

Use of Information

• To forward your application and relevant documents to the concerned Local Government Institution (e.g., Union Parishad, Pouroshova) for acceptance and processing.
• To notify you about the status of your application (via SMS or email).

Information Sharing and Disclosure

• Concerned Local Government Office: For processing your application, your information and relevant documents will only be shared with your selected Union Parishad / Pouroshova or other appropriate Local Government authority.

Description of Service

e-Parishad is an online platform that helps citizens apply for various Local Government services (e.g., Citizenship Certificate, Trade License, etc.) and other services, and connect with the concerned Local Government Offices (Union Parishad, Pouroshova, etc.). This platform facilitates application submission, forwarding to the office for processing, and tracking application status. e-Parishad collects a specific service charge for the use of this online service.

User Responsibilities

• You agree to provide accurate, correct, and complete information. Your application may be cancelled for providing incorrect or false information, and you will be solely responsible for it.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password. You will be responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
• You will use this platform only for lawful purposes and refrain from any illegal or fraudulent activities.

Responsibilities of the Local Government Institution

After receiving your application, the concerned Local Government Office (Union Parishad, Pouroshova, etc.) holds the complete responsibility and authority to verify the authenticity of the submitted information, process the application according to Local Government rules (approve or reject), determine and collect the necessary government fees (if any) for the certificate, and issue the final certificate. The legal validity and accuracy of the issued certificate are the responsibility of the said office.

Role and Limitations of the e-Parishad Platform

• The e-Parishad platform acts as a connecting medium between the applicant and the Local Government Office.
• We strive to ensure the security of your submitted information, but we do not verify the accuracy or authenticity of the information you provide.
• The decision to process, approve, or reject an application rests entirely with the concerned Local Government Office. e-Parishad is in no way responsible for this decision.
• e-Parishad platform is not directly involved in determining or collecting government fees. This responsibility lies entirely with the concerned Local Government Office.
• e-Parishad will not be responsible for the content, accuracy, or legal validity of the finally issued certificate.
• If any person or office engages in any illegal or irregular activities using the platform, the responsibility will fall upon the concerned individual or office; e-Parishad will not be liable.
• The platform's services may be temporarily unavailable due to technical errors or maintenance.

Prohibited Uses

• Any kind of illegal, fraudulent, or harmful activity.
• Collecting or misusing other users' information.
• Uploading or transmitting viruses or harmful code.
• Attempting to disrupt the normal functioning of the platform or violate its security.

Changes to Terms

The e-Parishad authority reserves the right to change or modify these terms of use at any time. The changed terms will be effective immediately upon posting on the website. As a regular user of the platform, it is your responsibility to stay informed about the latest terms.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms and the use of the platform shall be governed by the prevailing laws of Bangladesh. Any disputes related to this shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the appropriate courts of Bangladesh.

Fee Structure

To use the e-Parishad platform, you must pay a specific Service Charge. This charge is levied for managing the online application process, data storage, ensuring security, and overall maintenance of the platform.

Important Note: This Service Charge is completely separate from any Government Fee or Charge determined or collected by the concerned Local Government institution (Union Parishad/Pouroshova etc.). Whether any government fee applies to the certificate and how much it will be, is determined and collected solely by the responsibility of the concerned Local Government Office. The applicant may need to pay that government fee (if any) separately at the time of receiving the certificate or through methods directed by the office. For information regarding government fees, please contact your concerned Union Parishad/Pouroshova office directly.

Payment Method

The e-Parishad Service Charge must be paid at the time of application submission via the online payment gateway (e.g., bKash, Rocket, Nagad, Debit/Credit Card, etc.). The security of your payment information is ensured. Online payment gateway charges (if any) may apply additionally.

Service Charge Refund Policy

The following policy applies exclusively to the Service Charge collected by e-Parishad:

• Platform Technical Failure: If, after successful payment of the service charge, your application cannot be successfully sent to the concerned Local Government Office or processed correctly in our system due **solely to a critical technical failure of the e-Parishad platform**, the paid service charge will be refunded upon verification (online payment gateway charges are non-refundable).
• Accidental Duplicate Payment: If the Service Charge for the same application is successfully paid multiple times due to a technical error or user mistake, the excess service charge paid will be refunded upon verification.

The Service Charge is non-refundable in the following cases:

• If application processing issues arise due to incorrect or incomplete information provided by the applicant.
• If the application remains incomplete due to failure to submit required documents.
• If the applicant is not eligible according to government rules.
• If the applicant withdraws the application.
• If the application is accepted, processed, or **rejected** by the concerned Local Government Office (as the platform service has already been utilized).
• In case of delay or failure by the Local Government Office to provide the service (contact the office regarding any government fee refund).

Refund Process

If deemed eligible for a service charge refund, you need to contact our support team with detailed information about your payment (e.g., Transaction ID, Application Number, Payment Date, etc.). After verification and completion of necessary procedures, the refund will be processed, which may typically take 7-15 working days. Refunds will generally be attempted through the original payment method.
